December 16th

昨日から一番気がかりだった案件を終わらせて駐車場でほっと一息ついた午前中の一コマ。（ちなみに昨日から事務所のエアコンが絶不調で寒いから温かいコーヒーはマスト）

…がこの後午後から予想外の仕事が舞い込み（というか前倒しになった）、

決算＆銀行対応＆支払い準備

でバッタバタ。

しばらく鬼の形相でキーボードを叩いていたに違いない💦

が、今ようやく再びほっと一息。

先が見えてきたー。

とはいえ、締切がタイトなのには違いないからやり残しは持って帰って週末で少しでも片付けよう。

お疲れ、自分。

今日もあんたは頑張ったよー

…と思ったら。

帰宅してから会社にキーケース忘れてきたことに気づいた😱

片道20分以上かけて戻って捕獲。

やれやれな一日の終わり方だなぁ苦笑

Finally managed to cross off the item which had been in the back of my mind in the past three days. 

Having got the reassurance that it would be processed within our desired time frame, I literally breathed a sigh of relief. (So much so, I took a short break in the parking lot, sipping some hot coffee out of my water bottle.)

Little did I know things would actually get crazier and busier in the very afternoon. 

Some of the items that I had planned to do next week got pushed forward (by my boss's whim) and I was kind of forced to tackle multiple tasks such as statements of accounts, bank documents, and payables 

ALL AT ONCE. 

I must have been given off some "better-to-stay-away-from-her" vibe while I was frantically tackling the unexpected tasks that fell into my lap. 

Thanksfully, a couple of hours' frantic work put me closer to the finishing line, I'm now seeing the light at the end of a tunnel. 

Having said that, it doesn't change the fact that the deadlines are still tight so I'm going to take some work home for the weekend. 

You did good, me! 
I'll give you a pat on the back. 

There was, in fact, quite a twist to this diary. 

I left my house key at work of all places...

Consequently, I had to drive back to the office, wasting about an hour. 

What a spectacular way to wrap up my week!
