Wandering Thoughts

December 18th

I usually work on the first and the third Saturdays of each month at this time of year, but to my great surprise, our company calendar allowed me to enjoy two-day weekends except for the first Saturday this month.

It's not like I would do anything special on the weekends, though.
I normally spend the entire weekends at home, doing chores such as cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, and so forth.

As I did major decluttering last week, disposing of around 100 books and making room for my newly-added travel goods, I decided to chill out this weekend.
Apart from my routine cleanup, I ended up spending most of the time watching one of my recent favorite YouTubers videos back to back.

I don't even remember how I stumbled upon her videos, but I find her videos quite addictive and have been watching like crazy since then.

I even find her videos quite inspiring and motivational watching her trying and struggling to get better at her job as a sales representative.

My working environment and my job responsibilities are of course quite different from hers, but watching her videos always gives me motivation toward my work.

Before I knew it, it's already past 4 p.m... once again, I spent almost the entire day watching her videos when I probably should have brushed up my English skills.

Oh well, sometimes one needs to just chill out.
I did get some work done yesterday, and all I need to proceed is the green light from my boss, which I hope to get the first thing tomorrow so I can move forward with the final stretch.

It was also nice that I unexpectedly got to Skype chat with my partner who is always busy; his planned year-end party got canceled at the last minute.

Overall, it was a nice weekend.

Ugh.

I hate Sunday late afternoons, especially seeing the sun go down, highlighting the fact that my weekend is almost over.

I'd better make the most of the time left!
