いつもこの時期、第１土曜日と第三土曜日は出勤の日が多いけど今年のカレンダーでは第一土曜日以外はすべて土曜日も休みになっていた。（１年単位の変形労働制のため、毎年休日が変動する）
週末といってもどこかに特別に出かけることはなく、基本終日を家で過ごします。
掃除したり、片づけをしたり。
先週は本棚を断捨離して新しく仲間入りしたトラベル用グッズなどの保管スペースを作ったり。

スタートダッシュは良かったものの、中盤モヤッてた一日。
とりあえず業務終了。
お疲れ。今日の自分。
帰ります。
A slightly frustrating, long day at work is finally over.
Although I seemd to have gotten off to a great start, things started to go south in the afternoon.
Oh well, it's over now; the sun does go down and the moon pops up its head every day no matter what happens.
You did your best, anyways.
I'm heading home.
物事がうまくいかない日
時々物事が思うように進まなくて苛立つ日がある。
ちゃんとto-do リストを作って事前に準備を（ほぼ）完璧にしていたのに。
「よくやった自分、おつかれ！」と自己肯定感上昇中だったのに。
自分の力の及ばない、外的要因のために予定が崩れ、せっかく準備したことも急遽変更せざるを得なくなる。

Having checked in my bag, I moved to a relatively quiet place to call my boss to tell him that I would be a couple of hours late to get to the office. It was really a punch in the gut having to admit what had transpired - due to my stupidity and carelessness, but I knew all too well that it was all my fault and I had to face it like it or not.
